Friday Favorites 7/27/12

I didn’t realize that Batmanuel (Nestor Carbonell, whose name I always type as “Nector” for some reason) was the mayor of Gotham in the Nolan Batman movies. My powers of observation are the worst. I also missed Teal’c, so there you go.

 

This might be the most unfortunate frame of film from Star Trek: The Next Generation ever shot. I really, really want to know what episode this is from. From the uniform and hair, I want to say “Chain of Command”, parts 1 or 2, but she kept wearing the uniform after that. Ermahgerd. Merstery.

I’m at about season 3, episode 6 of Breaking Bad now, and let me tell you, THIS SHOW IS AWESOME! Another example of how I let awesome shows go on for 3-4 seasons before finally getting around to watching them. I call it “quality control”.

Video of the Week

Not only is this parody song absolutely amazing (it really hits home with the Star Wars fans/George Lucas debate), but it’s also an extremely well-done video. Plus, it’s very catchy (just like the original, but, y’know… Star Warsier.)
