Birthday Favorites 7/8/12
Sorry for the lack of postings over the past week! I’ve been legit busy and a few distracting things happened.
But you can’t be mad at me, it’s mah berfday!
Also, I DID blog almost every day this week over at I Like It Derby, so if you really need the Painway, you can always pop over there for some delicious derby insight.
I’ve been playing a lot of Conker’s Bad Fur Day on my N64 emulator, but it’s so FRUSTRATING. My arrow keys do not work as well as a gamepad. Something tells me I’m going to be buying a USB controller sometime in the near future…

I got “gamed out” at one point yesterday and happened across a pretty badass Photoshop tutorial, so I made this for myself. I think it turned out pretty decent. I miss my Photoshop fuckery.
Knize made my roller derby helmet look AWESOME for my birthday present. Arkham in the front, Star Trek in the back. You can find the rest of the pictures in a nice photoset on my I Like It Derby Tumblr page.

I’ve been mighty busy over the past few weeks and couldn’t pull together enough good content to do it last Friday. However, in penance I will do a double-long Friday Favorites this week to make up for the missed one. Sorry!
Now that I’m mostly-kinda-sorta caught up with my work I’ll try to get an actual post done sometime this week, too.
