Star Wars Day Princess Leia Cupcakes
Star Wars Day department potluck = Princess Leia cupcakes. I love fooling my coworkers into thinking that I can cook. It’s all in the presentation.
I got the idea from the blog JustJENN recipes. Her Leia cupcakes are way cuter, though, because she has actual talent when it comes to baking. That, and I couldn’t find the little heart sprinkles for the lips, so I ended up using rock-hard cinnamon candies which made all of my little Leias look either really shocked or, you know, surprised.
Holy cupcakes, these are all sorts of cute. Especially with the cinnamon-candy o faces.

Thank you! I guess the candies also kind of look like noses, because my boss was all, “What are those? Mickey Mouse?” I think he was just being a smartass, though.
I’ll admit that it was a pretty good attempt for someone who has zero talent at cake decorating.
