Duck Maul Might Be The Best Thing Ever

I missed it last year, but this year I’m going to Walt Disney World for Star Wars Weekends. Yeah, I’m going to ride Star Tours until I puke (although Dramamine did wonders for me last time), but I’m also going to pick up some of that sweet exclusive merchandise. The DisneyParks blog gave a little sneak peek of the merch this weekend.

I saw this stuff and thought, “This is awesome. I have to have it. All of it.”

The official poster. Donald Duck as Darth Maul is incredibly badass. There will be a regular poster like this one and a lenticular version. In the DisneyParks blog it’s suggested to use the white space for autographs, and I think that’s brilliant.

Here’s to hoping that these come in some sort of set, because I definitely need more than one. These mugs are just… mind-blowingly amazing.

I’m not as keen on the beach towel or photo frame, but that’s more because I would never actually use a nice towel at the beach, and I rarely print out pictures for frames.

Star Wars Weekends runs at Disney’s Hollywood Studios from May 18 to June 10 which is even more awesome if you’re a Florida resident who doesn’t have an annual pass (like me, because I’m poor). WDW has been running a special 3-day pass deal for residents that is $99, three days, three parks, and that runs until May 24. Soooo… that means that I’ll be at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at some point in the first weekend of Star Wars Weekends. *cue Imperial March*
