PoP! Plug: Art and Comic Book Reviews

Yesterday I wrote a piece for Panels on Pages inspired by a handful of tweets from comic writer Ron Marz. In those tweets, he suggested that comic reviewers don’t give the artists enough credit for the work that they do. I review comic books, and I’ve taken his ideas to heart, not in an I-am-so-offended-I-do-my-job-awesome way, but in a maybe-I-can-be-better way.

Either way, check out the article and decide for yourself. Should comic book critics give more love to the artists, or does the story take precedence over the art?
