Facebook, Quit Changing Things…

…because I’m tired of seeing everybody bitch about it.

Sites like Facebook, Twitter, etc. should never, ever be allowed to change. New technology? Nope, we can’t have that. New competitors? Whatever. Survival of the fittest, right?

Maybe Facebook was better back when it was only open to college students. See how much better it looked!

I know, sexy right? At least we didn’t have our parents on there. It’s almost as if Facebook lets anyone make a profile now. I wonder how many people upset over the changes were actually on Facebook back in 2004? (I was!)

Maybe implementing changes every so often is Facebook’s version of “You Must Be This Tall To Ride”. Maybe they’re hoping that people will drop off after getting frustrated enough. They want people to leave. Hey, maybe it’s a conspiracy between Facebook and Google+!

I don’t even know, is Google+ open to everyone yet? Or is it going to be a perpetual beta test?

Here are a few posts that I’ve read this morning regarding the new Facebook*:

OMG new FB is so dumb what is this sidebar thing?

WTF Facebook? I’m so done.

Shutting down my account. Bye, Facebook!

*two minutes later*

Disgruntled Person needs a cow for their farm!

* None of these are real posts.

Listen, change sucks. I would know, I’m a Star Wars fan, but do you really have to shit in everyone else’s coffee because you can’t figure out how to view updates now? If you really hate it that much, leave. Go have fun over at Google+. I still have invites if you need them.

Seriously, though, I need a cow for my farm. Help a sister out.

Edit: This just in!!!

As of TODAY Google+ is now open to everybody. IT IS A CONSPIRACY!
